Meanwhile, Laxmibai and the group of `sanyasis' cross the Jhansi border. Gangadhar Rao goes to meet the `Rajguru' regarding his problems. Guruji tells him about the great ritual at Datiya, where `sanyasis' from all over the nation would be gathering. Gangadhar hopes to meet Laxmibai there. Meanwhile, Acharya tells his wife that one has to undergo rigorous tasks to prepare for the ritual. Laxmibai volunteers to perform the difficult tasks as she considers herself Acharya's second daughter. Acharya is touched.
