Tatya Dixit gets medicines for Laxmibai, but Gangadhar wants it tested first. When Gangadhar is satisfied, he asks Tatya Dixit to give his queen the medicine. However, Tatya Dixit pours medicine from another pouch into the milk, and Laxmibai drinks it. Gangadhar tells Laxmibai that he is going to Lord Shiva's temple so that the evidences are not tampered with. Gangadhar inspects the burnt rope in the temple and investigates the cause. Tatya Dixit apologises to Laxmibai for the untoward incident as he was in charge of the ceremony. Meanwhile, Sakhubai and her accomplices hope that this time their pawn would not miss his target.Tatya Dixit assures the conspiring ladies that he has personally administered poison to Laxmibai, and she would not be able to save the king now.
